Welcome to Political Economy 483/Global Studies 483/International Relations 483 International Political Economy: The Politics of Globalization, a senior-level, three-credit course in international political economy that introduces the highly contested issues and contradictory positions concerning the meaning and significance of globalization. Through a theoretical and descriptive approach, the course focuses on the evolution of post-Second World War global power relations and the political and economic institutions that have brought us to the present era of globalization
