PSYC 470 /EDPY 470: Consultation and Collaboration for Students with Special Needs Report a Broken Link

Psychology 470: Consultation and Collaboration for Students with Special Needs is a three-credit course designed to increase awareness of the framework and rationale for collaboration, the facilitating factors involved, and the strategies for implementation. The main emphasis of the course is on understanding collaborative consultation as a process to enable people with diverse expertise to work together to generate solutions for educating students with special education needs in regular public school classrooms.

Unit 7: Working Together for Students from Diverse Populations

Explores how diverse school populations influence the process of educational collaboration in the United States. Topics addressed include competencies for collaboration related to diverse exceptional learners, the role of special education teachers, and the concept of collaboration across disciplines.
