GLST 308: Americas: An Introduction to Latin America and the Caribbean (Rev. C5) Report a Broken Link

This course addresses the complexity of Latin America and the Caribbean. Great wealth and desperate poverty are both part of the social dynamics of this region. The course provides a focus on several countries, as well as an overview of the development of the region as a whole, to provide the historical context that is the foundation of the region’s cultures, contradictions, and uniqueness.
