Environmental Studies 498: Capstone 1: Capstone Project Proposal (ENVS 498) is a core course that is required in the environmental studies program. In this course, you will plan and propose a major project and/or practice that focuses on one key environmental studies topic that you will undertake in Capstone 2 (ENVS 499). In this course you will establish your research project focus (i.e., research question/thesis statement), objectives for the project, research methods and tools, and the format of the final product. You will also provide a literature review and timeline for completing your capstone project.
