Ethics and Decision Making in Complex Situations (LEDM-552) is designed to serve the needs of all professionals including those who are regulated, non-regulated, licensed, or non-licensed. The course focuses on the gold standard of professionalism in Canada: self-regulating professions mandated by provincial governments. However, those who bring a professional perspective to their work but are not in a self-regulating profession will also benefit from this course as they seek to enhance their ethical skills for decision-making in professional and business settings. The course uses relevant readings, simulations supported by artificial intelligence, and weekly discussions with other professionals and ethics experts.
