This course serves as a tool kit for activism and is founded on the histories, stories, knowledge, and strategies of activists and social movements in Canada and the United States since the mid-twentieth century. Based on the Community Service Learning model, you will learn by engaging in advocacy and activism: by planning your own activist / advocacy project, and by implementing your activist project and reporting on your experiences.
